How get to Sorrento from Airport of Naples
By private transfer

A person will wait for guests arriving in Naples Airport of Capodichino and will drive to Sorrento hotel. You can also book it through your personal area after registration.
By public bus
Outside the arrival area at the airport of Naples Capodichino there is the bus stop of the line "Curreri" connecting directly the airport to Sorrento. Trip lasts about 75 minutes and stop in Sorrento is near the train station in Piazza De Curtis. Ticket (Euro 10,00) can be purchased on board from the driver. At website www.curreriviaggi.it it is possible to check timetable.
Outside the arrival area there is also the bus stop of the line called ALIBUS (ticket costs € 3,00 and can be purchased from the driver), connecting Naples airport to Naples train station Piazza Garibaldi, from where a local train called Circumvesuviana can be caught to go to Sorrento (ticket costs € 3,50).
ALIBUS also stops at Molo Beverello (Beverello pier) from where a ferry to reach Sorrento by sea can be caught.
By train
From Naples Airport or from other cities get to Naples main train station (Napoli Centrale) and catch line to Sorrento of the local train CIRCUMVESUVIANA. Departure platforms for Circumvesuviana are at floor -2.
By sea
At Molo Beverello (Beverello pier) in Naples it is possible to catch a ferry or an hydrofoil to reach Sorrento. Trip lasts about 45 minutes. Find time table at ALILAURO company website

From Rome

It is possible to reach Sorrento by bus of the line "Marozzi" connecting Roma Tiburtina station to Sorrento. The ticket costs € 17,50. Trip lasts about 4 hours and stop in Sorrento is in Piazza Lauro square.
It is also possible to go by train from Rome-Fiumicino Airport to Rome main train station called Termini and from there by a second train to Naples and than third train to Sorrento.
How to get to Sorrento by car
From the A3 (Napoli - Salerno) motorway take the exit "Castellammare di Stabia" and follow the indication to "Penisola Sorrentina" or Sorrento.
After going through three tunnels, follow the 145 state highway (SS 145) and continue to Sorrento overtaking Seiano, Meta, Piano di Sorrento and Sant'Agnello.
To go to the Hilton, enter in Sorrento by Corso Italia street and at the first big crossing turn left and immediatly turn right to "Via degli Aranci". After 600 metres turn left to "Via S.Antonio" following the indication to Hilton Sorrento Palace.
USEFUL INFORMATION
The local bus Line E connects the Circumvesuviana (Piazza De Curtis) with the Hilton Sorrento Palace in about 5 minutes. Anyway the walking distance is about 10 minutes from the train station.
When you arrive in Sorrento, the tickets for local buses and Circumvesuviana's trains are available at the Circumvesuviana station, at the newsstands or at the tobacco shops.
In Sorrento it is high season in July, so the shops open at 9.30 am and close at 10.00 pm. Some of them are opened all day long.
