HOW TO GET VILLA ORLANDI
Transport
Upon arrival at Naples International Airport - Capodichino, participants should take a taxi to reach either Molo Beverello (next to the main harbor) or the pier of Mergellina (next to the Mergellina tourist harbor).
Both Molo Beverello or Mergellina are points of departure of hydrofoils from Naples to Capri (ticket fare: about € 17,00).
Instead, ferries from Naples to Capri depart only from Molo Beverello (ticket fare: about € 10,00 - Company: Caremar). Taking a ferry is advisable with rough sea conditions, since they are more stable than hydrofoils.
On arrival at the port in Capri
Having landed at Marina Grande, the simplest way to reach Anacapri is by taxi. You can also use the public bus service, but direct buses from Marina Grande to Anacapri are not very frequent (ticket fare: € 1,40). Alternatively, you can follow a more indirect route. You can reach the famous "Piazzetta" di Capri in ten minutes, by taxi or in 5 minutes by funicular (ticket fare funicular: € 1,40 - ticket fare funicular+public bus: € 2,20). Once in Capri, you can take a public bus to Anacapri. These buses leave every 15 minutes. If you have luggage, remember that all the hotels offer and charge for a transport service from the port. Ask the hotel representatives at the port and they will look after your luggage and send it to your hotel. This is the most economical and least tiring solution to avoid a "heavy" impact with Capri.
Trains in Naples
Railways connections are provided by the Ferrovie dello Stato (National Railways) in the three stations: Stazione Centrale (Central Station) in Piazza Garibaldi, Mergellina Station, by the sea, and Campi Flegrei, in Fuorigrotta.
