For your security Yes Meet asks you to enter your credit card's security code. For VISA and Mastercard users this is the last three digits to be found on the back of the card. American Express cards have a four digit code on the front side of the card above the number (also known as CID number)
What does the Card Security Code do?
It is a unique number physically printed onto your card. The number is not embossed onto your card and is not shown on your card receipt or your statement. This means you must have the card in your possession in order to use it. As a result, it is difficult for anyone other than the cardholder to make a purchase.
Why do I have to enter my Card Security Code?
It is a new online security feature aimed at protecting cardholders against the misuse of their card. It helps us check that the customer making the booking is actually holding the card.
